What it does
Built to the fiscal rules, then made pleasant to use
BloomPOS does what a fiscal cash register must do under Malta's VAT rules, plus the everyday things a busy counter needs.
A journal nobody can edit
Issued receipts can't be changed or deleted. Every entry is chained to the last.
Z and X reports
Numbered daily Z-reports with a running total that can't be reset, and X-reports any time.
Proper refunds
Corrections go through a linked refund receipt with a reason and a manager's approval.
Vouchers, discounts, tips
Gift vouchers, preset discount reasons with limits, and tips recorded per person.
Any screen
Runs in the browser on a PC, Mac or tablet. Nothing to install, nothing to update.
Certification
How you get your EXO number
In Malta, the business applies for the EXO number and the till system is checked by an auditor. We prepare the system side for you.
You apply
The business applies to the tax authority for a VAT EXO number for its fiscal system.
We supply the pack
We sign the software supplier certificate and give you sample receipts and the system documents.
An auditor checks it
A warranted auditor confirms BloomPOS works like a fiscal cash register and can't be tampered with.
Your number goes live
Once issued, your EXO number prints on every receipt.

Good to know
Is BloomPOS certified yet?
Not yet. BloomPOS is built to Malta's EXO requirements and the first certification is in progress. Join early access and we'll tell you as soon as you can apply with it.
Can I keep my cash register until then?
Yes. Keep using your current fiscal register or receipt book until your EXO number arrives. Until then, BloomPOS clearly marks its receipts as not fiscal.
Does it need special hardware?
No. Any computer or tablet with a browser works. A receipt printer and cash drawer are optional.
How much does it cost?
Pricing is on request. It depends on how many tills you run, so tell us about your business and we'll send you a price.
